ON ZOOM - What’s your Carbon Footprint? In recognition of the climate crisis, Transition Town Port Washington is committed to transitioning to a Net Zero future. We all must to be part of this journey, but where should we start?   Communities United to Reduce Emissions 100% (CURE100) has developed a unique tool to measure households’ carbon footprint and thereby identify the most effective ways for individuals to quantitatively understand and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

And here is the best part, by reducing your carbon footprint you not only bring our community a step closer to the Net Zero goal, you also save money and improve your health in the process.

Join this Zoom Presentation to hear CURE100’s own Chandu Visweswariah explain the motivation behind the creation of the carbon tracker app. He’ll talk us through step-by-step how to complete the app and measure our households’ carbon footprint.

“Our Path to Net Zero” is a Transition Town Port Washington ENVISION 2030 Event. Presented in partnership with the Port Washington Public Library.

Transition Town Port Washington is a proud chapter of CURE100, a coalition of New York communities 100% committed to reducing fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030. Net Zero by 2040. Join Us!  www.transitiontownpw.org
