The Mosaic Organic Garden at the Science Museum of Long Island

Free 10-week Beginning Gardening Class with Cornell master gardener Lauretta Murdock at the Science Museum of Long Island, is underway.

Classes at "The Mosaic Organic Garden" will run both Saturdays 11:00 am -1:00 pm and Tuesdays from 9:00am - 11:00 am. Open enrollment. Come when you can start and when you can. All are welcome!

Learn How To:

Prepare soil

Choose vegetables and germinate seeds

Care for seedlings, water and weed

Spot and cure diseases

Harvest

Perform end-season care and clean up
