Rally for NY HEAT Act

TTPW supports the NY HEAT ACT because it prioritizes transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable heating solutions by ending outdated pro-gas state laws that are poisoning our communities and raising our utility bills; unlocking billions of dollars in existing funding for clean energy upgrades; and ensuring no household pays more than 6% of their income on energy bills.

By co-sponsoring this rally, TTPW joins other organizations deeply rooted in the community, including All Our Energy, Food and Water Watch, and the Long Island Progressive Coalition, to show decision-makers in Albany that Long Island is united in demanding meaningful action on energy reform.
